In the centre of the Vélodrome landscape stands the Facibelle Sail.

A huge sheet of conglomerate-rock, standing vertically and isolated by erosion, it defies time and gravity. The rock of which it is composed dates back less than 20 million years and was deposited in a shallow sea bordered by sloping shorelines, the last one to bathe our landscapes.
