Whether you are on your own or with others, there are three ways to explore and discover the amazing heritage of the UNESCO Geopark territory : by exploring the Themed Discovery Routes, with qualified and experieced professionals of outdoor activities, by visiting the Promenade Museum, the Haute-Provence UNESCO Global Geopark Geological Museum & Visitor Interpretation Centre.
Hiker Etiquette
Natural and geological heritage is fragile. Leave no trace other that the sound of your steps.
Limit erosion by staying on the paths already marked out.
Be as discreet as possible by making as little noise as possible.
Avoid conflicts, respect the priority: riders, then pedestrians, then cyclists.
Don't leave any rubbish: take back everything you have brought.
When nature calls: keep away from paths and waterways. Bury solid waste and cary out toilet paper.
No collecting of fossils, minerals or plants.
Respect the private property.
Pets are welcome but on a leash. Treat their waste as you would your own.
No fires or cigarette butts.
